The software version is not supported outside Windows 10 – Keep in mind that the latest DaVinci Resolve releases are not designed to function outside of Windows 10.But the vast majority of software-breaking bugs have since been fixed, so you should be able to resolve the issue just by making sure that you’re using the latest version available. Glitch or Bug – Davinci Resolve 15 has had a lot of bugs with different configurations that were known to cause software crashes.Davinci doesn’t have a minimum requirement sheet, but without a dedicated GPU, a solid CPU, and at least 16 GB of ram, you can expect crashes because of insufficient processing power.

When I click on the program, the DaVinci normal window will open, but as soon as it will get to "Loading Fairlight page" it just seems to move to the background and nothing happens afterwards. However, since I installed it everything is going wrong with it and now (even after a complete reinstall of all the programs inlcuded with it) it just won't launch, no matter the version I install (tried with latest version and version 16.2.3). I've been working with DaVinci Resolve 16 for a long time until recently when they got out the v17 update.
